A strong City-Country performance has propelled Josh Jackson into the State Of Origin selection discussion.
While most of the focus was on the battle between James Maloney and Josh Reynolds, the Country lock was one who caught the eye of coach Laurie Daley on Sunday.
“I thought he was really good actually,” Daley said.
“He is a guy that’s played really well at Canterbury for a couple of years now.
“The last couple of months have also been reasonably good.
“So he’s a guy on the verge for us because he’s playing well.”
Daley said Maloney went good and took more control of the game as it went on but anything could happen between now and when he selects his side for Origin I.
