Traffic lights mayhem
A TRAFFIC light malfunction prompted police to control flows on one of the Wagga’s busiest junctions.
Lights on the Tarcutta Street, Lake Albert Road and Sturt Highway junction began having intermittent problems from about 8.30am Saturday.
Duty officer Inspector Mark Murphy said police began conducting traffic control when major issues began occurring about 12.45pm.
A technician contracted by the Roads and Maritime Services fixed the problem later that afternoon.
