Doug Anthony All Stars
Lock up your parents and pit bulls - they’re back again! Australia’s first international comedy superstars the Doug Anthony All Stars (DAAS) are taking to the road again in 2015 following a sold out national tour that took 2014 by storm.
The brilliant, dangerous, ground-breaking and outrageously funny legends of laughter leave no stone unturned.
Touring the theatres that made them legends, Paul McDermott and Tim Ferguson join forces with their mentor, Paul ‘Flacco’ Livingston to wreak havoc and hilarity once again in a rapidly selling string of dates that prove that the DAAS phenomenon is back and bigger than ever.
DAAS revolutionized comedy like no act before or since, bombarding unsuspecting audiences with their inimitable formula: songs, sex, violence, sex, feminism (and sex).
Storming the UK, USA, Europe and Australia in the ‘80s and ‘90s, the dangerously brilliant DAAS broke the mould by taking comedy into rock venues, playing to huge crowds and becoming the Edinburgh Fringe Festival’s biggest selling act for eight years.
Now, run screaming down memory lane into the mob-rule chaos that turned three men into rock stars of comedy: from the group’s busking beginnings, setting themselves ablaze in Canberra; to the dizzying heights of London’s West End; silencing an audience of 12,000 at the Barcelona Olympics; and being banned from TV in Japan and Germany.
Wagga now has the chance to witness the worldwide phenomenon of DAAS with three masterful legends of comedy in an unforgettable night of sex, lies, videotape, and songs about dogs on Friday, June 19. This show is part of the inaugural Wagga Comedy Fest, tickets can be booked on-line or at the Civic Theatre.

The Tap Pack
The past has a very alluring appeal. Shows that have a nostalgic element are always popular at the theatre: whether it’s a polished band paying tribute to the music of the past.
The Tap Pack is a sophisticated mix of nostalgia and contemporary elements. Inspired by the unforgettable live shows of the "Rat Pack", featuring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr, The Tap Pack is a new, highly entertaining act - the old classics, combined with a fresh twist.
The Tap Pack will perform today, Saturday, May 2, in two performances at 2pm and 7.30pm. Tickets are still available at www.civictheatre.com.au or from the Box Office 45 minutes before the show.
