CHAMPION jockey Glen Boss gave a stunning appraisal of the Murrumbidgee Turf Club track following his win in the opening race on Wagga Town Plate day.
Boss guided debutant Just Like Stratum ($1.90) to a narrow victory in the Sumo Salad Wagga Maiden Handicap (1000m).
“It’s one of the best tracks I’ve ridden on in a long time,” Boss said.
Boss said Just Like Stratum was green but certainly a horse to follow.
