PopUpGigs founder Tolsa Harrison will fly the Wagga flag in Dublin, Ireland as his app gains international recognition.
Mr Harrison has been invited to exhibit PopUpGigs at the 2015 Web Summit in Ireland.
He nominated the movement online a couple of weeks ago on a whim and recently received word that he was among the 15 per cent of start-up applications from around the world that could attend.
“I’ll be right in the mix of other start-ups, like myself, with inventors, entrepreneurs and web developers from across the globe and I’ll be flying the PopUpGigs banner high,” he said.
“It’s such an overwhelming feeling looking back to think what began as an idea and by taking the leap to turn it into reality.”
The PopUpGigs app connects people across the country to gigs in venues in their area.
The app features more than 300 venues, including the Union Hotel, Birdhouse and The Home Tavern in Wagga.
