The 68th Miss Wagga Quest launched on Wednesday night at the Mercure Hotel – with six women, aged in their 20s, vying for the crown.
Amelia Morton, Melissa McKinnon, Megan Short, Jessica Watson, Adele Hamer and Chloe Antone will compete for the title while raising money for a raft of charities
Event organiser Alexandra Mack said the contest provided young women with an opportunity to engage with their community and develop their self confidence.
“They’ve been through a lot of personal development in the last five weeks.
“So they’re geared up for the night.”
The winner will be announced later this year.
