Organisers of Wagga Takes Two admit they are blown away by the event’s success and longevity within the community.
The show, which just wrapped up its ninth year, cracked the million dollar mark and looks strong going toward its 10th anniversary.
“We thought we would get two to three years maximum out of it,” chairperson Narelle Potts said.
“But different celebrities bring a different element to it each year.”
Mrs Potts is part of one of three families who launched the show and said their goal is to harness the momentum and enthusiasm to keep it going for another decade.
Organisers are catching their breath after this year’s final performance but Mrs Potts said ideas are already being thrown around on how to make next year a fitting celebration.
