Man rescued from water near Gundagai
Man located, taken to hospital
A man went missing in the Murrumbidgee River near Gundagai and was rescued from in the water, the SES has confirmed.
The man was transported by ambulance from the rescue point near Gobarralong Road to hospital.
His condition is unknown.
The Gundagai SES was sent to the incident about 4.45pm with eight support crew.
SES crews dispatched to Murrumbidgee River
Reports have surfaced of a rescue operation taking place on the Murrumbidgee River near Gundagai.
It is understood State Emergency Service (SES) crews have been dispatched to the river where a person is believed to be in need of assistance.
Crews have prioritised the incident because of fading light.
