GRIFFITH has transformed flanker Andries De Meyer into a makeshift halfback as the club comes to terms with its new look team.
Injury and unavailability forced Blacks co-coach Matt Vitucci to make the switch, but he was impressed with the results.
“He was playing out of position at halfback for the first time and went really well to control use around the field,” Vitucci said.
“He’ll be playing there for the next couple of weeks then see how we go.”
