WAGGA will be adequately catered for under a revised Primary Health Network program, Riverina MP Michael McCormack has claimed.
On Saturday, Health Minister Sussan Ley said the successful applicants to run 31 new PHNs across Australia had been selected.
Murrumbidgee Medicare Local staff had been anxiously waiting for news since the federal government announced the program would be axed and replaced with a new structure.
Mr McCormack said the new area would be “more manageable”.
