Gurwood Street taxi rank
WAGGA’S trouble-plagued Gurwood Street taxi rank will have security guards at peak times from this weekend.
Roads and Maritime Services has answered calls from NSW Police and the public for guards to be stationed at the rank between 10.30pm and 5am on Friday and Saturday nights.
The Gurwood Street taxi rank will become the second secure rank for Wagga, with guards already present at the Station Street taxi rank at high-risk times each weekend.
