A MAN has allegedly indecently assaulted two young boys and attempted to kidnap one of them at ConFest in Moulamein at the weekend.
On Friday, a 43-year-old man approached a 10-year-old boy at a bathroom area at the festival and indecently assaulted him, police said.
He then allegedly tried to carry the child away from the area but slipped over. The boy took that opportunity to run back to his parents.
The next day, the same man is alleged to have indecently assaulted a seven-year-old boy while they were using an inflatable mattress at a nearby river.
Police from Deniliquin Local Area Command were notified and arrested the man about 7.30pm on Saturday.
He was charged with two counts of aggravated indecent assault and fronted Deniliquin Local Court on Sunday, where he was refused bail.
He will reappear at Griffith Local Court on Wednesday.
