FORMER Wagga golfer Tegan Smith will return to the city’s fairways for the Sureway Ladies Classic on Monday.
Smith has been a professional for the last seven years but will return to her old stomping ground for one of country NSW’s biggest ladies tournaments.
The Ladies Classic kicks off a big week on golf at the Country Club with the member’s event on Tuesday before the professionals arrive in the city for the Pro Am.
The course is closed for practice on Wednesday ahead of the Pro Am shootout and gala dinner on Wednesday night.
The Ron Crouch Transport Pro Am runs over Thursday and Friday.
Craig Parry and Peter O’Malley lead the big names for the men’s event.
