Wagga City Council has accepted a $29,168 grant from the NSW Government as part of the 2014-15 Public Reserves Management Fund Program.
The funding will allow for the installation of a cable fence at the Wiradjuri Reserve Recreation Area.
The money will continue works undertaken to protect valuable riverside areas from damage caused by uncontrolled vehicle activity.
The Crown Reserves Reserve Trust funds the grant.
