GROUP 20 club Yenda have been given one of the hardest draws for this weekend’s West Wyalong Knockout, but new co-coach Tom Sellars is looking forward to the challenge.
The Blueheelers will take on Albury Thunder in the sixth match at Ron Crowe Oval on Friday. The second rower is part of the new look Blueheelers coaching staff, sharing the responsibilities with Josh Curphey.
Taking on the three-time Group Nine reigning premier could be a daunting task, but Sellars believes it will be a great indication of where the team is at.
“It’s going to be pretty tough test for us and they are a pretty good side, but I think we’ll go alright against them and have the team to do so.
“It is a good challenge to see if what we’ve been doing at training is paying off, and if we get a bit of a touch up we will see what we need to work on.”
