
A WHITTON man has been arrested after his dog allegedly attacked a 10-year-old boy.
The 10-year-old was allegedly attacked on Friday and received a large bite to the buttock he was treated at the scene by paramedics.
At 10pm, police and council rangers visited a Whitton address to speak to the dog's owner.
He allegedly became abusive towards police and rangers and was arrested.
He will face charges in Leeton Local Court for not having a dog under control and obstructing police.
During a search of the owner's yard by police three cannabis plants which were seized and the man's 52-year-old partner will face charges of cultivating a prohibited plant.
