Wagga's civic precinct will be abuzz tomorrow as young families pack the square for some holiday fun.
Wagga City Council event co-ordinator Karly Pieper said the day promised to be fun-filled, with great entertainment.
Boasting 24 sites, the day is aimed at children aged from two to 12 years of age.
"The upcycle bicycle blender will allow kids to make energy that will make snow cones, which is pretty cool," Miss Pieper said.
"They'll also be able to make their own postcards with the Wagga symbols on them."
Farm animals, a clay station and other craft activities will engage children.
Miss Pieper said a wide range of entertainment would run throughout the day with the performance of The Curious Game promising to bring colour and excitement.
"It's where the world of fairytales meet the world of board games," she said, adding the performance would be staged at the ampitheatre from 11am.
Group Born in a Taxi will entertain with two shows of their roving performance The Zebras.
Miss Pieper encouraged families to make a day of it and head to the Little Big Day Out before they checked out the Wagga Show.
"The weather's going to be beautiful and it will great to see the kids having fun," she said.
"We want to show the community that council is not all roads, rates and rubbish.
'We do provide great community events."
She said taking children to the day would be a great way to introduce them to the wider Wagga community.
