Wagga accountant Brian Roberts collapsed and died at the Sturt Mall yesterday, aged 68.
Mr Roberts was a former partner in the successful accounting firm Bush and Campbell, he was also a Wagga City rugby union stalwart and former treasurer of the Riverine club.
Funeral details are yet to be released.
His death comes just a day after Group 9 identity and former Australian rugby league player Nevyl Hand, 91, died in Cootamundra.
Former chief executive officer of Southern Riverina County Council, now Riverina Water, John Goldsworthy has also died this weekend after a long illness.
Mr Goldsworthy was also a past president of the Wagga Wollundry Club.
