WGA is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our head office in Wagga Wagga in the permanent part-time role of Accountant or Bookkeeper working 3-4 days per week. This role requires a hands-on approach with exposure to a diverse and broad range of responsibilities.
Reporting to the Financial Controller the Accountant or Bookkeeper will provide support with the day-to-day operations of the Finance and Accounting team ensuring efficient and effective processing and will assist with accurate and timely reporting of financial information for the investment portfolios in Australia.

This role will require someone with a strong work ethic, who has high attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work accurately within tight deadlines, excellent excel skills who is a team player and who is ultimately willing to go the extra mile to produce exceptional results.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience and have a solid understanding of accounting principles, experience in: management accounting; BAS preparation; financial reconciliations; budgeting; bank reconciliations; accounts receivable and payable and assisting in the preparation of tax returns. A background in agriculture and/or familiarity with the agricultural industry is highly desirable, but not essential. Accounting qualifications would also be considered advantageous but not essential.
