Police in the Wagga and Cootamundra Local Area Commands regularly issue warnings to the public regarding and investigate fraud targeting Riverina residents.

One such scam police have warned residents about is one targeted at local businesses.

In the past, tolice have asked that if any business owner receives any correspondence soliciting advertising from ‘The Underprivileged Children’s Guide’ or ‘National Emergency Relief Guide’, they should contact police.
