A lecturer in equine science at Charles Sturt University, Noble secured victory in the 95cm division at the Wagga Horse Trials at the campus' equestrian facilities over the weekend.
Riding locally bred stockhorse Condover Forest, who she partnered up with to take out the 60cm class in 2015, Noble delivered a strong dressage performance and a clear showjumping round on Saturday before sealing the win with a clear and under time cross country leg on Sunday.
"I'm at the university as part of the equine science faculty, so hopefully I'm out practicing what I preach," she laughed.
"Every time he (Condover Forest) has competed here he's been clear through cross country and showjumping, he's a very good horse.
"The cross country course rode beautifully. They had some new jumps and they all went really well.
"The community service worker did an amazing job leading up to the event to get the cross country course looking great, setting up the dressage arenas and helping pack things up.
"The covered equestrian centre here is an absolutely first class facility."
Around 160 competitors from across New South Wales and Victoria took part in the trials, run each year by the Riverina Equestrian Association.
The winners of each division were decided over the course of three legs, with the competitor racking up the lest penalties adjudged the victors.
Promising 15-year-old rider Holly Durnan also enjoyed a solid weekend aboard horse Bobby B, finishing fourth in the junior 80cm division.
"She's a dedicated and great little rider so the sky's the limit for her, absolutely," Noble said of Durnan.
Hazel Shannon, a winner of Adelaide's prestigious three-day event, proved too strong aboard Gretta in the one star 1.05m class, while local competitor John Bromfield came fifth in the 80cm event on Gneevebrack Storm.
A number of people were also awarded Riverina Equestrian Association life member badges including Anne and Hunter Doughty, Elaine Furze, Jan and Dennis O'Brien, Kristy Watson, Shannon Smith, Frank Skinner and Sandra Vicary.
