Wagga City Council has opened expressions of interests for a $10,000 grant for a seasoned projection artist to teach up to 20 young people their trade.
This marks just one of the city’s upcoming digital art opportunities, with another $20,000 allocated to an artist’s residency program with ten emerging artists ahead of next year’s NightLights event.
During the five day artist residency, local artists will have the chance to learn from a seasoned professional and get some help developing their own digital artworks.
NightLights is the city’s annual light projection display, where talented projectionists create digital art on the 50 metre wide wall at the Wagga Civic Centre.
