The Griffith Swans reserve grade side heads into its second grand final in as many years and will be hoping for a role reversal against Collingullie-Glenfield Park on Saturday afternoon in Narrandera.

The sides met in last year’s decider where the Swans’ dream of an unbeaten season was shattered by the Demons. This time it’s Collingullie-GP looking to finish a perfect season with success in the grand final.
Reserve grade coach Dean Catanzariti is hoping to turn the tables.
“They have been the team to beat all season,” Catanzariti said. “We will definitely be looking to play the underdogs tag to our favour.”
The Swans have had a strong year with their only losses in the regular season coming at the hands of the Demons.
The sides met in the major semi-final with Collingullie-GP booking first spot in the decider with a 26-point win but Catanzariti feels they aren’t out of reach.
“We kicked 2.17 that day,” he said.
“If we can stick to the game plan and kick straight we should be in a good position.”
The two clubs will meet in both reserve grade and first grade. Catanzariti, who is playing seniors, said it’s a big moment for Griffith.
“It is massive for us,” he said. “This is what we have been building towards over the last couple of years.”
Catanzariti said, with the exception of a couple of long-term injuries, the Swans will head into the clash at full strength.
“Our main ruckman (Dean Spratt) broke his leg in the qualifying final against Turvey Park,” he said.
“Apart from that everyone looks pretty good at this stage. The one thing about us is that we have heaps of depth.”
First bounce in the reserves decider is slated for 12pm on Saturday at the Narrandera Sportsground.
