The Mary Potter Nursing Home is a modern, high-care 80-bed centre, with 67 long-stay beds, five respite beds and eight transitional care beds.
The facility features single room accommodation, with each room having adjoining ensuites.
Residents have ready access to a wide range of physical therapies, activities and social interactions in dedicated areas such as the art and craft room, a hairdressing salon and chapel, as well as open courtyards.
The home has a purpose-built dementia facility - Shalom Place - with 20 beds and residents can enjoy secure gardens that have been custom-built to respond to unique dementia care needs.
Loreto Home of Compassion
Loreto Home of Compassion provides high level care for people who need full nursing care.
The home has room for 76 residents, with accommodation provided in single rooms with adjoining ensuites.
Courtyard areas are accessible from most bedrooms, as well as access to common areas - including a well-appointed lounge and dining areas - where residents can enjoy group activities or take private time.
Residents are encouraged to add personal touches to their rooms.
Forrest Community Services
Forrest Community Services provides at-home aged care to people across the Riverina, allowing people to remain at home in an environment that is familiar with as much independence as possible.
The Forrest Centre can provide domestic assistance, personal care, social support, assistance with meal preparation and shopping, allied health support, continence management and assistance with aids and appliances, through packages including Home Care (levels one through four), Commonwealth Home Support Program and DVA Community Nursing.
These services can be provided on a short-term or ongoing basis, depending on individual needs.
