The avid cyclist will again feature in the guelling 400 in 4 event, a fundraiser entirely comprised of firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW.
The ride raises funds for the Burns Unit at The Children's Hospital at Westmead, a cause close to Dave’s heart.
“We’ve been doing it for a few years now,” he said.
“I’ve always cycled and I don’t mind being on the road for a good cause.”
The group will ride from Wagga to Gundagai on day one (83km) before a long trek to Goulburn on day two (183km).
Day 3 sees the riders head across to Mittagong (82km) before finally arriving in Westmead (100km) on day four to visit burns victims in hospital.
“It’s a pretty long ride but nothing we can’t handle,” Dave said.
