A spokesperson told The Daily Advertiser on Friday morning that the 28-year-old remains in a critical condition.
About 11.30pm the woman’s Mazda left the road before colliding with a street sign and tree on Edward Street, cross of Dobney Avenue.
She was pulled from her car unconscious before being transported to hospital.
Wagga police Chief Inspector Andrew Spliet said the crash was still under investigation and wouldn’t rule out any factors but said there didn’t appear to be any other cars involved.
“Obviously we are calling for any witnesses who might’ve seen the collision and we’ll be investigating all factors in relation to the circumstances,” he said.
The scene of the crash was examined by specialist officers and inquiries continue.
