Police were called to Wagga’s Rural Referral Hospital about 10pm on Saturday night after the baby was conveyed to the hospital from Buna Street, Ashmont.
Wagga police Chief Inspector Andrew Spliet said he would not take any further questions in relation to the matter, as investigations were ongoing.
