The 38 new nurses and midwives, who are from a graduating class of 2,400 in NSW, will be split between Wagga and Tumut’s hospitals

Wagga MP Daryl Maguire visited Wagga Base Hospital on Wednesday morning to congratulate the new graduates on their appointments. 

“Nurses and midwives are the backbone of the public health system and I am delighted to welcome them to our neck of the woods,” Mr Maguire said.

“Around the clock, 365 days a year, our nurses and midwives are on the frontline of the NSW health system providing care to patients and support to their families.

“I wish all our new starters the best of luck with their careers and again welcome the invaluable contribution they make to our health system.”
