The Kildare Catholic College student is taking part in an annual program run by Committee 4 Wagga to help develop the city’s future leaders.
“We have been learning heaps of leadership skills, and we’re being pushed out of our comfort zones,” Bree said.
At the launch of the program on Wednesday, the students were given the confidence-boosting task of interviewing the official guests
Calvin Combs, from Wagga Christian College, was keen to hear from “people who have gone before me”.
“I want to take all the opportunities presented to me, and this is a good way to learn,” Calvin said.
Chief executive officer of Committee 4 Wagga Philip May described the development of young leaders as “vital” for the city's future.
“These are out leaders for tomorrow and beyond tomorrow,” Mr May said.
