The alt-pop four piece will travel to Wagga on Friday ahead of their charity gig at the Home Tavern, which will raise awareness and funds for the Friends of the Sunflower House group.
The group, chaired by Bernie’s aunt Joanne Carter, supports Wagga residents living with mental illness – something that resonates closely with the band.
“We’ve only been properly gigging since late last year but mental illness support is something that we’re really on board with,” Bernie said.
“I’ve got close family members affected by this so I was more than happy to come out to Wagga for a fundraiser.
“Then I pitched it to the boys and we were all in.”
The band are in the midst of producing their first album, however, excitement is building ahead of their debut country gig.
“We’re pretty keen to come out and perform,” Bernie said.
“Being fairly new, we’re pretty used to playing for free but it’s going to be cool playing in Wagga.”
