Seven records were broken at the carnival and all of them by girls.
The finer details of the results were still being determined on Tuesday afternoon and will be announced at a school assembly on Friday.
Lake Albert Public School teacher John Urbanavicius said it was a successful carnival.
“All in all, it was a good day,” Urbanavicius said.
“The four main houses were quite competitive and we had seven school records broken, all in girls events too.
“The fact all kids had the opportunity to participate in any event they wanted to go in was really good. It was the first time we did that, previously they had to have their name down before the carnival.
“It was really good to see them all involved.”
Millie McKenzie, Madeline Angel, Izabella Zambon, Jock Graham and Mia Graham were some of the standouts.
Ubanivic also thanked Susan Heffer for coordinating the carnival.
