Harrison produced a strong finish to take out The Rock Classic on Sunday.
In a race dominated by Tolland Cycle Club, Harrison edged out Shane Lenon and Cameron Oke to take victory.
The second group caught those on the limit late in the 75 kilometre race, where Harrison took out a bunch finish.
Tolland’s Kylie Johnston was the first woman to finish, while Peter Treloar claimed the fastest time of 1 hour, 34 minutes and 51 seconds.
There was 53 riders contest the opening leg of the series and Wagga cycling legend Barry O’Hagan was pleased with how the event went.
“It was a good day,” O’Hagan said.
“The first two bunches got together with about 2.5 kilometres to go. The next three bunches were together but failed to catch them.”
The main pack, which included the scratch markers, were about 90 seconds away.
Meantime, entries close on Wednesday for the $20,000 Tolland Open, to be held on March 3-4.
