Her efforts may not be forgotten at the school in a hurry either, after she entered the record books on four occasions, in an outstanding performance at the Oasis.
Setting a sweep of new records, King lowered the mark in the 11-years girls 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 50m butterfly and 50m breaststroke.
The rising star wasn’t the only record-setter at the carnival, with Angus Beggs also powering to a new mark in the senior boys 50m breaststroke, on his way to claiming age champion honours in the divison.
Araluen (green) was the winning house, with 418 points.
Coordinator Tarryn Birthisel declared the carnival a success.
“It was a fantastic day, wiht lots of participation in both the races and the novelty events,” Birthisel said.
