Lawrence was the star performer as she set new times in the nine years 50m freestyle and the junior girls 50m backstroke.
She recorded 41.80 seconds for the 50m freestyle, breaking a time set in 2015. She broke a 14-year-old record in the backstroke with a time of 53.83 seconds.
On a big day of swimming, Graham finished house champion, while the teachers reigned supreme in the relay event against parents and students.
Kooringal Public School sports coordinator Morgan Kennedy said a fun day was had by all.
“We had a really good day, the kids were really, really well behaved,” Kennedy said.
“We had lots of chant-offs through the day, battles between the houses, while the kids were swimming which bumped up the excitement for them.
“It was a really great fun day for all staff and students.”
Kennedy also thanked Kooringal High School students who conducted the timing on the day.
The final house points score was Graham (222), Henwood (144), Castle (137) and Wilson (110).
