Smeeth is yet to win a toss this season so the Bulls have been doing all the chasing.
While it’s worked in their favour most weeks they have not yet had to chase down a total in excess of 180.
However he’s sure his team can put on a big score.
“You can only score as many runs as you are chasing,” Smeeth said. “We would love to bat first, bat for a long time and put 250 on the board.”
With the Bulls on top of the ladder Smeeth is pleased by how they are tracking into the finals.
“We are really happy with the ways things are at the moment,” he said.
“Our batting line up looks a lot longer now and our bowlers are getting the job done regularly.
“We’re pretty happy with our all-round game and certainly confident of getting another win this game.”
Smeeth returns after missing the second part of the match last week.
