Now known as Mr Lumieres, the horse will have his first start for new connections at Sha Tin on Sunday night.
Zakynthos Regrets was trained by George Dimitropoulos and was one of the Southern District's most exciting gallopers before being sold to Hong Kong.
The four-year-old is now trained by David Hall, who trained Makybe Diva to her first Melbourne Cup win and Silent Witness before he was transferred to Hong Kong.
Zakynthos Regrets won two of his five Australian starts, which included a track record at Leeton at his fourth start.
He ran second behind Fickle Folly in a Highway Handicap (1100m) in February last year before being sold by owner, Tony Loukissas.
Mr Lumieres will contest the Good Fortune Handicap (1000m), a Class Three or ratings 60-80 in Hong Kong. It is race six on the 11-race program. The race will be run at 6.05pm, Australian time.
He is drawn barrier five and will be ridden by Alberto Sanna.
