Holbrook Fire and Rescue captain Darrell Casey said the downed lines ignited the fire about 10.15am, two kilometres outside Holbrook.
He said it took about six tankers and crews to extinguish the fire.
“We were hampered by the down wires as we weren’t able to get access to the fire to put it out,” Mr Casey said.
“You have to wait for the company to isolate the power.”
Mr Casey said the B-Double driver was not injured and the cause of the crash was not yet known.
