Southern District horses have been given little hope of winning this year’s Country Championships Final (1400m) by bookmakers.

TAB released their market on Wednesday for the $500,000 final and only two Southern District horses featured in the market and both at $101.

Albury trainer Graham Hulm’s pair Bennelong Dancer and Supplyzing were both included at $101, behind Danny Williams’ $2.80 favourite Don’t Give A Damn.

Other horses can be quoted upon request.

The $150,000 Southern District heat (1400m) will be held at Wagga on Sunday, March 4. The first two horses home qualify for the $500,000 final.

The final is then held at Royal Randwick on Saturday, April 7, on Championships day.
