Morris was the 18+years female age champion after a performance which included records in the 50m and 100m freestyle and 50m butterfly. 

“She’s been an absolute fish every year and she broke three records, which is a great way to finish her career at the college,” sports coordinator Timothy Bacon said. 

Morris can hand the baton over to primary students Jones Russell, 9, and Oscar Gianniotis, 12.

Russell set six new records and Gianniotis broke records in four events on the way to securing their age championships. 

Lindner (yellow) was the winning house, upstaging the strong West house this year. 

Bacon said the school couldn’t have been happier with the way the carnival went off on a hot summer’s day when the pool was the place to be. 

“It was a fantastic day, we were pretty blessed with the weather and the cloud cover that came over,” he said. 

“It allowed a lot of participation and we had quite a number of kids jumping in throughout the day. And the pool were amazing, even the staff ended up joining in with some of our novelty events.”
