Annabella Storer eclipsed some of her own record on the way to a standout performance at the Mater Dei Catholic College swimming carnival on Thursday night.

Storer set six new records on the night including being the first girl to break 14 years girls 50 metre butterfly mark in 11 years.

She also bettered her time from last year to claim the opens 200 metre freestyle and set a new mark in the 12-14 years individual medley.

Molly Devries and Jamie Mooney both set four new records, Rhys Mooney break three while Patrick Richardson set two new ones including in the opens 200 metre freestyle.

Sherrin also set a new senior girls record in the final event of the evening.

It took until the final race to determine the house championship with Rosarie making it five straight with a narrow victory.

Less than 90 points separated the top four house, with Rosarie edging Sherrin by four points despite Sherrin and Webber having more age champions.

Age champions

  • 12 years – Bella McGinn
  • 13 years – Polly Meckiff, Lachlan Press
  • 14 years – Annabella Storer, Jamie Mooney
  • 15 years – Lucy McIntyre, Tristan Wheeler
