The Demons unveiled their latest signing on Friday with Klemke to join younger siblings Jayden and Matt at Crossroads Oval.
Klemke has spent the last three seasons at West Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) but is no stranger to the region.
He is a Henty junior and was co-coach of Ovens and Murray League club Wodonga Raiders in 2014 after three seasons with Queanbeyan.
Klemke was the target of a number of clubs across the state but could not resist the temptation to play alongside his two brothers at Collingullie.
“Jayden and Matt have been there the past couple of years so that was a pretty big attraction,” Ben said.
“I spoke to a few O&M and Riverina clubs but I was never going to play against Collingullie.
“To play with my brothers will be pretty special and something I’ve always wanted to do.”
Klemke has moved from Adelaide to Sydney and will travel each week to play with the Demons.
He is likely to either play at centre-half-back or in the ruck, according to coach Luke Gestier.
“It fills all the credentials about being a family club, getting the extra brother on board,” Gestier said.
“Ben’s obviously a good fit, and can play the game as well. I’m looking forward to his leadership presence out on the ground.”
The Demons have also welcomed Derek Singe from Henty.
Collingullie-GP have been back training for a couple of weeks as they prepare for three pre-season trials against Gungahlin (March 17), Marrar (March 22) and Belconnen (April 7).
