The Raiders led 5-3 at the final break before Octopuses' Josh Paul and David Barrett combined to tie the game just in time.
Henry Collie and Doug de Jong led the early onslaught for the Raiders, scoring two goals apiece.
The other men's game, contested between Dolphins and Octopuses Black, was called off early in the piece due to consistent lightning strikes.
In the women's competition, first-placed Raiders thrashed last-placed Dolphins 11-1. The Dolphins then backed it up with a significantly better showing against Raiders, but ultimately went down 8-5.
