Trenaman was named 13th player for both Saturday and Sunday’s matches against Adelaide Strikers at Robertson Oval.
While making her debut at home would have been another highlight for the 16-year-old, she believes just being part of the squad is a great learning experience and is looking to continue the ride as finals approach.
Trenaman was impressed by how many Wagga fans turned out.
“It is fantastic for so many of them to come out in the heat,” Trenaman said.
She believes it is important for matches to be brought outside the capital cities to further the game.
“The Thunder’s goal over the last couple of years has been to bring games to regional areas and to put on such a good spectacle both today and yesterday is fantastic,” she said.
