There was no shortage of highlights as some of the most talented cricketers in the world bashed sixes, fours, took catches and performed stumpings in front of a good crowd at Robertson Oval.
Despite the temperature hitting 42 degrees, a crowd of 821 people turned out to support the opening day of the WBBL double header in Wagga.
Sydney Thunder showed why they sit on top of the WBBL ladder with a 37-run win over the Strikers.
The Thunder won the toss, batted and finished with a big score of 4-148 from their 20 overs.
Adelaide Strikers were all out for 111 in the 20th over.
