The Matthew Harris-trained gelding has won three of his five starts to date and has drawn well to make it four at Junee.
Harris has been pleased with how the six-year-old comes into the second Milbrae Quarries heat on the card.
“He will go ok,” Harris said.
“I quite like him.
“I thought he ran a good race last start.
“He was probably up in grade a bit there and although he had a good draw he went good.
“He’s a pretty genuine little race horse.”
After drawing barrier three Harris is hopeful of leading the field, a position where he’s yet to taste defeat from.
The son of Four Starzzz Shark has been lightly raced with Harris preferring to simply take his time.
“He never got broken in until he was a two-year-old and then I brought him back, gave him a light prep and he just wasn’t good enough,” he said. “But I liked his attitude so I put him away again and he got put to the side as I had too many horses so he hasn’t tried until he was a late three-year-old.
“That is why he hasn’t raced much."
The heat is one of three to qualify for a $9000 final at Junee next Saturday.
