The Groove Factorie is preparing to take to the stage once more for the January installment of Sunset by the Lake.
Band member Dale Allison said residents are encouraged to chip in donations for Country Hope with a free entry to the Apex Park event.
“It’s more of a country vibe out there and is a great facility for kids, it seems a shame not to utilise it,” he said.
“The only value the band gets out of it is providing a community event that we feel is important for everyone.”
Fellow band member Geoff Simpson said it was all about bringing the community together.
"Why sit at home when you can come out, bring a picnic blanket, enjoy a drink, and listen to some good live music,” he said.
The event will kick off at 6.30pm on Friday.
The date for the next Sunset by the Lake event is still to be confirmed.
