Carroll went to school at Assumption College at Kilmore and then spent last season with Whittlesea’s under 19 team in the Northern Football League.
Turvey Park coach Truman Carroll believes Jayden will be a valuable addition to the Bulldogs team.
“He’s a tough inside mid, a real competitor,” Carroll said.
“He’s a real grinder and will give us some more depth in our on-ball brigade.”
Carroll is no stranger to Turvey Park and was a captain in the Bulldogs’ juniors.
It continues a strong off-season for Turvey Park, who have added the likes of Kade Garland, Chris Cerato and Daniel Hitchens to their list.
The Bulldogs resumed pre-season training this week and have pencilled in four trial games plus an intra-club, starting with Corowa-Rutherglen at Corowa on March 10.
They will also play Farrer League clubs Temora (March 16), North Wagga (March 23) and Charles Sturt University (April 6).
“That’s what our fitness coach wants, that’s his expertise,” Carroll said.
“We want to be rock hard fit for round one. We’ve got a big game against Coolamon in round one, then hit Tigers in round two.”
The Bulldogs only notable losses are Andrew Emery, Mitch Sykes, Jack Brooks and Tim Doyle.
