In-form Gundagai stayer Itsa Fait Accompli will look to make it back-to-back city wins at Canterbury on Wednesday.
Itsa Fait Accompli has accepted in the $40,000 Benchmark 79 Handicap (1900m), with Jay Ford in the saddle from barrier 10.
Trained by David Blundell, Itsa Fait Accompli won his second Highway Handicap last start when saluting second up over 1600m at Warwick Farm on December 23.
Itsa Fait Accompli was named Southern District Racing Association’s 3YO of the Year for the 2016-17 season.
The four-year-old has won four from 12 starts and already amassed $124,000 in earnings.
