NSW recorded a 39-run win over Queensland to complete an undefeated run through the Twenty20 component of the championships.
There is a strong Riverina contingent in the team, led by Wagga City coach Jon Nicoll, as well as former St Michaels bowler Cameron Suidgeest and assistant coach Robbie Jackson.
Cudgen’s Caleb Ziebell led NSW to victory with a magnificent 110 not out.
NSW batted first and finished 3-190 from their 20 overs.
The Bush Blues then restricted Queensland to 151. They were dismissed with two balls to spare.
For the fourth time in six matches, Nicoll was not required to bat. He took a catch in the field.
Suidgeest continued his strong championships by taking 2-22 off 3.4 overs. It took his tally of wickets to 12.
All teams will enjoy a rest day on Monday, before the one-day format of the championships begin on Tuesday.
