Fire and Rescue Turvey Park station commander Jeff Edwards said the concerned driver alerted them at 12.10am on Thursday before two crews responded to the car fire that was “fully engaged”.
“It’s getting a bit too repetitive for us but we responded and had the fire out in just over half an hour,” Mr Edwards said.
“This latest fire happened less than 24 hours after the previous car fire, which was just a few metres away in the same space of bushland.”
Police are investigating both incidents, with inquiries including whether the two fires are linked.
